These spirit image photographs are all taken in the blackness of the night... no PhotoShop... no multiple exposures.  Sheer enters the frame of the shot during the lengthy exposure and lights up the camera-facing side of the models to create the spirit figures.  A little moonlight (or a small amount of ambient light) eventually brings back brightness and color on the negative.  There are two art forms at work here... performance-art and nighttime time-lapse photography... no digital!
